<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">if you dont plan on doing much of any real time competative racing...but perhaps a few auto cross events or anything else of the like, and want cheap power...i REALLY recommend checkin out www.homemadeturbo.com. they are a local group of crazy turbo nutz that can REALLY set you up with a turbo set up for cheap! You can have a nice set up with the current motor you're runnin but you MUST do an auto to manual transmission conversion in order for the car to be able to take the abuse and power. Honda auto trannies are worthless in any performance aspects.

Since you have an si model and not the S model...there's not too much you need to worry about. The main differences that matter to me between the si and the highest model(VTEC), is the larger disc brakes in the front, dual cam vtec motor(b16), thicker front and rear sway bars, and ABS. Otherwise, the si model is pretty comparable to a VTEC model in my eyes. The S model however has a single cam non-vtec motor which is also in base model civics and crx's that push a mere...what...102hp? The S models dont have a rear sway bar and i believe only SOME of them came with a front sway bar...but if they did...they were pretty thin and worthless. They also have rear drum brakes and damn near power nothing haha.

Anyway...just check out as much FAQ links as you can on del sols. a good forum to join is www.hondavision.com where a lot of very insightful fellas lurk around but be warned...they CAN be assholes if you approach wrong. Another ok site is www.solsociety.com but i find it more child's play there than the other one. But go to both of corse and just read through all of the information links to get you started.

You got the same car i do, cept mine is red...just fix it up make it look better...sell it and use it as a down payment for a faster car for racing...if this is a commuter car then it is fine as it is...just fix it up so its not a beater...
